Lapedona video
Lapedona- Between the sea and the mountains.
A lovely video, made in 2019, that flies above the village of Lapedona and shows its close proximity to the sea. Villa Veneto can be seen in a number of shots, identified by the scaffolding outside, while undergoing its extensive renovation.
Lapedona and Local Area
Perched gently on the rolling hills of Le Marche, the charming village of Lapedona (FM) offers a rare blend of tranquility, authenticity, and effortless access to the Adriatic Sea. Just a short drive from the coastline, it’s a place where mornings begin with birdsong over olive groves and evenings end with golden sunsets drifting in from the water.
What makes Lapedona truly special is its proximity to the sea without sacrificing peace and privacy. In less than 10 minutes, you can find yourself on the sandy beaches of the Adriatic—perfect for a refreshing swim, a seaside lunch, or a relaxed aperitivo as the sun dips below the horizon. Nearby coastal towns such as Porto San Giorgio and Pedaso offer well-maintained beaches, marinas, and a vibrant yet laid-back atmosphere.
Back in the village and surrounding countryside, life moves at a slower, more meaningful pace. The area is rich in local food culture, with traditional trattorias and agriturismi serving fresh seafood, handmade pasta, and locally produced olive oil and wines. Dining here is not just a meal—it’s an experience rooted in generations of passion and simplicity.
For those who enjoy an active lifestyle, the region offers endless possibilities. Scenic cycling routes wind through vineyards and sunflower fields, while hiking trails reveal panoramic views stretching from the Sibillini Mountains to the sea. Cultural excursions are equally rewarding, with historic towns like Fermo and Ascoli Piceno just a short drive away, offering architecture, markets, and festivals throughout the year.
Lapedona and its surroundings capture the essence of what makes Le Marche so beloved: unspoiled landscapes, genuine hospitality, and the perfect balance between countryside serenity and coastal living. It’s an ideal destination for those seeking an authentic Italian lifestyle, where the sea is always close, and every day feels beautifully unhurried.
