ONLY €120,000 euros* FOR A 1/10TH, FIVE-WEEK FRACTIONAL SHARE.Owner resale share.

Situated in the medieval hilltop town of Petritoli, Casa Tre Archi is an elegant three-story townhouse, epitomising everything you’d imagine an Italian home to be, having been lovingly restored while maintaining the historic character and features you would expect.

Blending into the very fabric of this beautiful town, the house adjoins the ancient turrets and Tre Archi (three arches) which landmark the entrance to this peaceful Le Marche town, and positioned only a brief walk away to the town centre itself. There is an amazing array of historic buildings and piazza to be found when exploring Petritoli. Four churches, a restored Civic Tower (with viewing terrace), a small theatre and tranquil historic cemetery to name but a few.

Three Arches, anchored by 15th century turrets, dramatically form the entrance to the village, a welcome sight on arrival. One of the turrets forms the living room wall of Casa Tre Archi, a lovely historic feature.

The two bars in the village offer different experiences, from the hustle and bustle of Bar Gelateria Tre Archi, home to amazing artisan made ice cream, to the lovely garden at the front of Fanny’s Bar, where you can while away the long summer evenings. Choices for dinner are excellent, with four highly regarded restaurants (Ristorante Re Squarchio, Osteria della Cornacchie, Ristorante Roma and a new Enoteca Anti-Sociale). There is also a lovely Pizzeria ‘Girasole’ within easy walking distance of Casa Tre Archi. The quality of the Petritoli restaurants is remarkable for such a small community but not surprising when you consider the Italians love of food.

Petritoli

An evening flight over the wonderful village of Petritoli. The house can be seen, attached to the right hand turret of the three arches entrance to the village. This truly is one of the most popular and vibrant villages in the area.

Petritoli - ‘Balcone sulla Valdaso’

Living in the centre of a medieval village in Italy is a wonderful way to fully immerse yourself in everyday Italian living.  Petritoli is home to approximately 2000 inhabitants, including a number of frazione (smaller hamlets).

Four churches, a restored Civic Tower (with viewing terrace), a tiny theatre and the ‘Tre Archi’ - Three Arches, anchored by 15th century turrets, form the elegant entrance to the village. The day begins with the elderly inhabitants meandering to morning mass, beckoned by the church bells. The local cafes, busy with people grabbing their early morning coffee and pastry before work, the sound of shutters opening, the start of another day. This local village is famous for its vibrancy, large selection of bars and restaurants, and as an international wedding venue. Please see the photos and videos below.

The four bars/cafes in the village offering different experiences, from the hustle and bustle of Bar Gelateria Tre Archi, home to amazing artisan-made ice cream, perfect for morning coffee and pastries, and a welcoming bar with lovely aperitivi. A great venue for live music. Fanny’s Bar, where you can while away the long summer evenings in their lovely garden. Oppure Brewery - a new birrificio recently opened in the village, serving a delicious range of locally brewed beers. Botega Vitali is the brain child of Antonietta Vitali, a chef/journalist as a way of bringing local produce and home baked goods to the people of Petritoli, she often hosts different chefs to cook lunch, is a great spot for coffee and cake, or an early evening aperitivo and a snack.

The local shop owners get to know you by name and greet you warmly on your return ….the local produce from the surrounding valleys is a real treat for those who love to cook with fresh ingredients. There are two small supermarkets in the village, a bakers, fishmongers, pharmacy, numerous art galleries/shops, handmade shoe shop, gas station, police station, local medical centre and tabaccharia.

There are four highly regarded restaurants (Ristorante Re Squarchio, Enoteca Antisociale, Osteria della Cornacchia and Ristorante Roma) all within easy walking distance of Palazzo Scarsini. The quality of the Petritoli restaurants is remarkable for such a small community but not surprising when you consider Italians love their food. There are multiple other choices in the local villages, many fabulous restaurants an easy drive to the coast and some really special places in the mountains.

The local theatre, Teatro dell’Iride, offers a rare treat for lovers of opera, live theatre and international music competitions. It has been carefully restored over the years and has recently become an international venue for weddings.

Enjoy the numerous local festivals, museums and markets or just sit in the Piazza sipping a glass of Prosecco watching the world go by.

Petritoli has been voted as one of Italys most beautiful villages ‘ borghi piu belli di’Italia’. When you visit it is clear why!

Casa Tre Archi is situated in the centre of this medieval village, on top of a panoramic hill, 350m above sea level, benefiting from amazing views to the Adriatic Sea and Sibillini mountains.

Due to this position overlooking the Valdaso valley, Petritoli is referred to as the ‘Balcone sulla Valdaso’  - the Balcony over the Aso valley!
