You’re Invited on a 2026 Discovery Visit

Here’s everything you can expect from a visit to Le Marche with Appassionata

A Discovery Visit is the best way to understand what life as a homeowner in Italy could look like for you and your family. It’s relaxed, informative and designed to give you a real sense of our homes, the beauty of the local area, and to give you a taste of the lifestyle that comes with fractional ownership.

We have been following this process for 17 years and have found it the most effective way of giving our clients the best experience during their introduction to Appassionata. It's an open and honest approach to discovering what put the “Ahhh”… in Appassionata.

Below, you’ll find a clear breakdown of what to expect during your 2026 visit.

Step 1: Choosing Your Dates

Simply let us know the time of year you’d like to visit, and we’ll confirm availability.

You’re welcome to bring family or friends, and the dates can be tailored around flights, school holidays or your preferred season in Le Marche.

Of course, the spring and summer months are most popular, and dates tend to get snapped up, so if that is your preference, we’d recommend getting in touch ASAP.

Step 2: Booking Your Accommodation

We will assist you in finding the best accommodation to suit your requirements. You can then research these options, make your decision, and book your trip, giving you full control over style, budget and setting.

Some prefer a boutique stay in Petritoli, while others may choose a coastal hotel or a countryside spa resort. Our recommended options provide lots of choice and will help to create the perfect visit.

Step 3: Arriving in Le Marche

Once your dates are confirmed, travelling to Le Marche is simple. You can fly into Ancona, Bologna, Rome or Pescara, then continue your journey by car. We suggest renting a car, as it makes the visit far easier and gives you complete flexibility throughout your stay.

Car rental in Italy is straightforward, with well-known providers available at every airport. Collections are efficient, documentation is simple and driving in Le Marche is beautifully scenic. The roads are calm and easy to navigate, creating a gentle pace that makes travelling between towns simple and enjoyable.

Step 4: Meeting the Team

We would love to extend an invitation to have lunch or dinner in one of our many excellent local restaurants, where you’ll get the chance to meet members of Appassionata’s family-run team.

You’ll learn more about our fractional ownership model, how the residency calendar operates, what your share includes and the overall rhythm of life as a homeowner. It’s a chance to ask questions and build a clear, practical understanding of the process.

Step 5: Discovering our Homes

A key part of the Discovery Visit is seeing our homes in person. Before your trip, we will have discussed your criteria and recommended the best options that meet your needs, providing us with a list of homes to visit. We help to narrow down your search so you’re not overwhelmed by the variety and uniqueness of every available property.

You may decide to visit our latest project, a medieval apartment, Il Nido in Petritoli, giving you the chance to explore the layout, design details, modern amenities and craftsmanship up close.

During the visit, you will start to imagine yourself living in the space and dreaming of the memories you are going to make.

Our owner resale properties are also available to tour, so that you can compare different styles and locations to find the home best suited to you. This part of the visit helps you get a true feel for what it means to return to a home in Le Marche each year.

Step 6: Exploring the Area

Many guests spend their afternoons wandering Petritoli’s historic streets, enjoying long lunches, visiting local markets or taking a scenic drive to the coast to get a real idea of what life in Le Marche could look like.

But if you want to make the most of your trip to Italy, choose to extend your stay and explore more of this stunning country while you’re here. Popular onward destinations include Rome, Venice, Bologna and Florence, and all are within easy reach by train or car.

Step 7: Understanding the Practicalities

During your visit, we’ll walk you through the practical elements of ownership so that you have all the information you need to make an informed decision. Having members of the team on hand allows you to have open discussions about pricing, process, annual running costs, what is included in a share, how the 2026 residency calendar works, the process of reserving a share, and anything else you want to clarify.

We will also provide you with contact details of current owners whom you can speak to about their experience to help you with your decision.

As you head home, you will be in a much better position to decide if Appassionata is the right choice for you.
